The Goldtouch Dongle is a Broadcom 2.0 adapter and uses the native Windows drivers – there is no need for any 3rd party drivers. This Dongle does not require any installs or updates. The native Windows Bluetooth driver hardware it uses is so stable it hasn’t changed since 2006!

This Dongle is a Bluetooth radio and is dependent on the operating system to provide encryption. The Goldtouch Dongle has a range of 33 ft.

When using a Dongle, plug it directly into your computer. Do not plug it into any other device or a docking station/hub, as we cannot guarantee it will be effective and could interfere with other devices.

The USB Dongle is so small you won’t even know it’s there. You can leave it right in the USB port even when traveling with a laptop.
